Writing in her autobiography, Sam Faiers discussed Bobby's past relationship with Harry Derbidge - and wasn’t too flattering in her portrayal of Gemma Collins’ best friend.
She said: "I heard on the Essex grapevine that Bobby was colluding with the producers and then stitching Harry up on screen for guaranteed airtime and Gemma was being encouraged to get herself right in the middle in order to cause maximum drama…
"It brought out the worst in Bobby too, who I thought started to look vicious and a bit desperate if you ask me."
Now, speaking in an interview with new! magazine, Bobby Norris has admitted that Sam’s comments came as a bit of a shock - especially after everything he's done for her in the past.
Bobby said: "It's quite hurtful, obviously, because I feel like I've been there for Sam.
“One time in Marbella, I stayed late and changed my flight so she didn't have to fly home with Joey.”
He added: “I don't know where it's come from but good luck to the girl.
“I’ve done nothing but support her."
Admitting he’s keen to see Sam face-to-face so that they can discuss her hurtful comments, Bobby said: "I'd love to bump into her to see where it's really come from.
"I'm upset she thinks that about me – it's hurtful when someone says something about you that you don't believe and isn't true."
