Have you heard of the hot new bronde hair trend?

It's a cross between brunette and blonde and the hair colour celebs are queuing up for - including Blake Lively.

Yup, that’s right; 27-year-old Blake has only gone and swapped her honey-gold locks for something a little darker.

Taking to Instagram to show off her new look, Blake - who welcomed baby James in December with hubby Ryan Reynolds, 38 - shared a photograph of herself sitting cross-legged on a suspension bridge across a jungle river.

Dressed in a simple white tee, shorts, and flip-flops, the usually glam A-lister looked seriously beautiful working the au natural look.

She captioned the shot: “Brondes have more fun #NoTypos”

Blake added: “I know, I think it’s crazy too!”

The gorgeous Gossip Girl star also shared a close-up shot of her darkened locks, as she shared a photo of a heart-shaped mountain with her Instagram followers.

She wrote excitedly: “Holy cow! A heart shaped mountain. Nothing more perfect than nature. Time to protect it!!!”

The mum-of-one added: “@livelokai and @world_widlife are helping to save our animals #LetsDoOurPart #livelokai #IStillCantBelieveTheresAHeartShapedMountain--WaitTilNirvanaHearsAboutThis [sic]”

Could she be any more adorable?

We have to admit that, while we never thought we’d be able to handle a world without Blake Lively’s natural blonde tresses, the bronde look definitely suits her.
