We all know that actress Blake Lively has embraced motherhood whole heartedly, sharing regular updates via her Instagram and lifestyle website Preserve.

But the 27-year-old has decided to share even more family snaps with a gorgeous ‘breastfeeding’ photo.

Standing next to a gorgeous blue lagoon in Thailand, the swimsuit clad mum kept baby daughter James out the photo, but it is clear that she has moved her bikini top out the way so she can nurse her pride and joy.

She wrote alongside the stunning photo: “The PERKS of breastfeeding #YesThatsRiceInMyHair #BlondevsBronde #BrondeJamesBronde.”

Fans praised Blake for being so open about breastfeeding in public, which is often still treated as a taboo in many people.

One of her 3.4 million followers wrote: “Thank God for women like you who are willing to do the right thing.”

Another commented: “Amazing. You're a pioneer.”

Returning to work six months after giving birth, Blake is currently in Bangkok filming her new movie All I See Is You.

After becoming a mum last year, Blake revealed that she is using breastfeeding as a way to expose her daughter to ‘different cuisines’.

She admitted that she rubs truffles on her nipples before nursing James.

Blake explained: "You have to give her a well-balanced palate from a young age.

"You can't be around me and not be exposed to all different cuisines."
