And now it seems the sex and name of the newborn have been revealed by a nurse who helped look after the 27-year-old actress in hospital.

Sending a message of congratulations on twitter, @kimbanksy wrote: ‘Congrats @blakelively #blakelively glad to have you and baby girl violet in our care.’
However, despite the initial tweet suggesting the sex and name of Blake and Ryan’s baby, the twitter account has now been deleted so she is uncontactable for further comment.
Some are now speculating that this may suggest the information is untrue, and that the twitter user perhaps isn’t who she says she is.
Blake previously revealed her joy at becoming a mother, saying it was something she’d wanted since she was small.
‘I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family so it was always important to me.’
