It seems Made in Chelsea’s Binky Felstead has clearly not heard of the age old saying 'Hoes before Bros'. Because in Monday night’s episode of the reality show, the naïve lamb choose to ignore the advice of pals Fran Newman Young, Cheska Hull and Lucy Watson and, instead was blinded by cheating boyfriend Alex Mytton’s powers of manipulation. That and his stupid, stupid hair.
After admitting to being unfaithful on four occasions, Binky seemed to forgive lothario Alex and his pesky mind blank ways. To prove their unity, they were even spotted dancing awkwardly at the beginning of the episode to some pretentious indie band no one had ever heard of in a Surrey mansion.
Binks’s close pals Fran and Cheska were the first to try and talk sense into her. “How will you be able to trust him if he goes out without you?” Binkles had no response. Just tears. Which is what I assume her reaction was when Alex first told her he wasn’t joking about his choice of hairstyle.
Similarly, Lucy Watson’s advice to Binky to stay away from Mind Blank Man Whore Alex fell on deaf ears. After insisting he had only let the horse out of the stable four times, Alex worked his manipulation magic on Binky by claiming Lucy wanted his infidelities to be true 'so that she could be proven right.’ And right she was Alex but God forbid you come across as the baddie in all this.
Still, Binky would soon realise she’d made the wrong choice siding with her boyfriend over her bezzies. Just as things seemed to be peachy between the pair, Lucy and co-star Louise Thompson were forced to confront Alex over allegations he and fellow man whore Spencer Matthews had indulged in an orgy with a string of women during the one-week Alex and Binky were on a break. After five seconds of denial, the cloud of mind blank lifted and Alex admitted his naughtiness. Binky flipped and an epic slap was unleashed on the love rat’s face. Shame it wasn’t a pair of scissors to his stupid hair (have I mentioned I hate it?)
But I’m sorry to say Binky; Alex wasn’t the only one who deserved a slap. You choose to ignore the friends who were trying to keep you away from your cheating boyfriend and allowed your cheating boyfriend to convince you it was your friends who were the enemy. If there's one thing that spells trouble more than an unfaithful boyfriend, it's an unfaithful boyfriend whose able to make everyone around him look like the enemy.
