Speaking to this month’s Mother & Baby magazine, Billie, 24, said:
“I was surprised how naturally motherhood came to me – when people say, “Being a mum is a love you cannot explain”, it’s so true; I just feel so close to Nelly. I’d look forward to being pregnant again."
She added:
“Like any first-time mum I was really nervous at the beginning, but it comes naturally now and I’ve had so much help from my mum. It’s really nice to have her around all the time – I’m not going to have a nanny because I’ve got her.”
Billie’s fiancé, Greg, was present at the birth. She said: “I didn’t know whether he’d be able to handle it, but he really wanted to be there.”
She added: “He’s taken to fatherhood much better than I expected.”
Nelly’s already a natural in front of the camera, Billie revealed:
“Greg and I had the conversation whether or not to have her on TOWIE, but the show is reflective of real life and Nelly is my life now. She won’t be a fixed character, but little snippets of her, like pram-pushing in the park, is nice.”
