Former TOWIE star Billie Faiers has hit back at fans after they questioned her Instagram photo
Billie Faiers has been criticised for her parenting technique with Nellie but the reality star has explained the reason behind her daughter still using a pram.
The yummy mummy to Nelly, two and Arthur, three-months, posted a photo of her children in a double buggy. The 27-year-old wrote alongside it: "Over the park this morning with my two little monkeys… double buggy coming soon."
How nice and snug does Arthur look in the photo?
Although Billie has received over 17k followers many people were quick to question why Nellie, who is almost three-years-old, is still the pram. One person wrote: Silly question but why is nelly still in a pushchair she is far too big for it."
Someone else said: "I don't know the circumstances or if it's just for the picture but my 3year old doesn't need a buggy anymore and hasn't since he was 2, it's a lot easier with one walking believe me! buggy boards are an option if she gets tired x"
"I personally wouldn't entertain my toddler to be in a pushchair in fact when he was 2 and walking the pushchair went. Buy a board to go on the pushchair so they can stand on it and some reigns. A child older than 2 should not be in a pram. They should be made to walk. I got rid of my pram soon as my son started to walk, I got a scooter and reins and had no problems," a third person commented.
Another added: "I personally find pushing 2 much, much easier than pushing my baby and trying to keep hold of my toddler. My toddler is only 21 months but would walk everywhere if she could. She's an absolute live wire! I find it safer to have her fastened in when I am out on my own with both, especially somewhere open like a park."
One more person questioned: Is there actually a reason Nelly is still in a pushchair? Like, doesn't she walk very well or something? There's 14 months between my kids and I only had a double pushchair for 5 months because he insisted on walking everywhere. And he's very well behaved so it was never a problem."
After receiving a lot of negative backlash, Billie hit back at the critics and wrote: "Yes there is a reason ... walking from a busy high street where there are a lot of Cars to a park, putting her in a pushchair is the Safest option (not that I need to explain, many mums would agree however) and yes she can walk 'like' perfectly ... thank you."
Lots of her followers were quick to defend the reality star, with one person explaining: "She is only still 2 and it's probably just for the picture or she's tired and wants a nap x"
Someone else pointed out: "Every child is different, my eldest is 3 nearly 4 and only just stopped using his buggy. I'm not ashamed. He's done it in his own time just like everything else in his development. Please don't judge or criticize other mum's way of parenting."

Another person joked: "Here come the pram police lol good god if she likes a buggy she likes a buggy and what makes life easier .... my boy is just turning two and I have a baby due in sept... I will defo be using a double ... there isn't any right or wrong ages, people just like to moan over stupidness boring."
One more wrote: "My daughter is 2 1/2 and can walk the dog in the park happily for an hour but also loves to sit in the buggy when she's tired or yes, for safety she has no choice I just strap her in!"
This isn't the first time Billie has been criticised on social media; she was slammed for teaching Nelly how to pout and received a lot of backlash after sharing photos from her holiday with sister Sam Faiers.
