‘This week I took Arlo to his first West Ham premier league game and he smiled the whole way through. I can't wait until Andy's back on the pitch so we can both cheer him on.
Arlo hasn't stopped smiling since he discovered that he could, and it makes me so happy just watching him.
Another first for Arlo this week was that he took part in a Baby yoga and massage session at Bababoom in Loughton, Essex - Arlo was a natural like his mum!
The baby yoga helps to soothe and calm the babies and teaches you how to manage aliments such as colic and digestion issues. The class was really fun and I made some new mummy friends from my area which is always good.
One of the main topics of convo between the mum's was stretch marks which a lot of expectant mums also ask me about.
I'm so fortunate that I didn't have any when pregnant or after and I'm preventing any from appearing by continuing to use the cream that I used throughout pregnancy - Mamma mio tummy rub oil.
I can't believe how rapidly Arlo is growing – he's definitely had a growth spurt in the last week and has grown out of most of his clothes and so I'm having to buy him all new.
Thankfully I'm not in short supply as My 1st Years often send him cute personalised baby grows and hats.
The length of sleep that Arlo gets each night is still unpredictable but since we got the Sleepyhead mattress we've found that he's really comfy and sleeping for longer periods.
Early morning feeds together with early morning starts to go and teach bikram yoga are tough but I wouldn't change it for the world. I know he'll sleep well tonight though as we're having a big family meal with all the grandparents and great grandparents so he will be all cuddled out!
My mum loves babysitting and this week Andy and I went for a relaxing spa day at the Corinthia spa and caught a performance of The Book of Mormon so mum could have plenty of time alone with Arlo.
Until next week, Billi x’
