Former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow has had a sad week following news that best friend Cara Kilbey suffered a miscarriage 5 months into her pregnancy.
By bittersweet coincidence, Billi was expected to give birth within weeks of Cara.
Thankfully, the 26-year-old’s own baby bump is coming along nicely judging by her latest Instagram snap.
With her bare belly being gently hugged by fiancé Andy’s hands in the shape of a heart, the star shared the snap with the caption: “14 Weeks To Go.... @andytcarroll”
Followers were quick to criticise Billi for posting the image so soon after pal Cara’s miscarriage, but one fan jumped to her defence writing: “Speaking as someone who has had a miscarriage I think people need to lay off billi. She's entitled to enjoy her pregnancy like anyone else and I'm sure Cara would never begrudge her that. people need to just leave her alone!(sic).”
Another fan shared her support, writing:” I really don't no how anyone could say she's not aloud to be happy, I had 2 miscarriage and my best best friend had her baby but not for 1 min did I want her to stop being pregnant around me, it's @billimucklow first baby and she should put pic up of her bump why should she not!!!!!!!
“What's happen to cara is awful and I know how she feels but @billimucklow has every right to be happy and enjoy her pregnancy and I'm 99% sure cara will want her to do this as much as I wanted my friend to enjoy ever min, why wouldn't i!!!!!!!(sic).”
