Big Reunion star and 5ive singer Sean Conlon criticises X Factor’s Cheryl: ‘She’s sending the wrong people home’

Singer Sean Conlon- who shot to fame as a member of boy band 5ive- has blasted X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, saying that he thinks she made poor decisions when choosing her acts.

In an interview with a UK newspaper, the Big Reunion star said that he was left disappointed after tuning into the TV talent show.

“Cheryl is sending too many people home with talent,”

He added: “I’ve had enough. I don’t get it.

“There was one girl that was singing and she was amazing,” Sean said. “But then Cheryl didn’t put her through. I don’t know if it’s fixed or what.

“Some of them have real good voices. How she can send them home, I just don’t get it.”

Cheryl sent home popular acts Lola Saunders, Emily Middlemas and Kerrianne Covell during the judges houses segment of the show (Lola Saunders has since returned as a Wild Card entrant).

Controversially, she took through contestants Chloe Jasmine, Stephanie Nala and Lauren Platt to the live shows.

Cheryl’s choice of Chloe Jasmine led to claims the show was fixed after the former Girls Aloud star brought the singer back during the Bootcamp stages.

According to newspapers, Cheryl and the X Factor judges were involved in a ‘tense exchange’ following the decision to bring Chloe back.
