The 28-year-old, who went from a size 18 to a size 8 last year, said her former lover 'moves at about 20mph'.
The couple met in a bar in London in 2011 and moved in together within a month. The following year Josie lost 6 stone, and debuted her own fitness DVD.
The reality star has now admitted calling off their wedding while she searches for a new home in Bristol.
Speaking to a UK magazine, Gibson said:
“Me and Luke have had a chat and we're going to take a break from our relationship.

The 25-year-old plumber is thought to be feeling left out of Josie’s new-found fame.
According to a source, the couple are growing apart.
“She has tried to rekindle the passion, but it's been hard with their work schedules.
“Josie lives her life at 160mph and Luke is more like 20mph, and she is feeling frustrated.”
It would appear that Josie already has her eye on another potential love interest, after she writing in her column that she couldn’t wait to meet TOWIE star Tom Pearce, naming him as the ‘best looking bloke’ in the show. Her interest seemed to be reciprocated, with Tom later tweeting, ‘Hah, always like this girl'.
'I want to go on Dancing On Ice because they can lift me now'
The star, who has a collection for online fashion retailer Goddiva, is excited about her future, and dreams of becoming a fitness model. She recently said:
“I want more clothes ranges and I want to go on Dancing On Ice because they can lift me now.
“And I want to do some presenting. The world's my bloody oyster!”
