As we approach the start of the new series of Big Brother, it has emerged that one of the rumoured contestants has already been axed from the show.

Joey Essex lookalike Sam Barton was due to enter the famous house, but after making physical threats towards Josie Cunningham bosses soon changed their mind.

Josie, 24, reacted by tweeting: "LOL LOVE to see him try. Sammy needs to go home, finger his a*** hole and release some of that sexual tension. X ."

Sam said he wanted to 'headbutt' Josie Cunningham

Sam told the Daily Star: “I lost my place in BB on Wednesday for my physical threats. They warned me and I done it again.

"They called my manager, he spent the whole day practically begging, but they said no."

Sam- who made a name for himself by getting survey to look like Joey Essex - previously said to the paper: “If I was to come across Josie Cunningham in the Big Brother house, I would probably headbutt her, no exaggeration."

His agent confirmed that his comments had lead to Big Brother pulling the plug on his appearance.

"Sam will not now be entering the house. He made foolish remarks on Facebook and social media.

"He is naive at times but we are standing by him. He already has two TV shows in the can fit broadcast in the next couple of months."
