Queen Bey has previously fought off claims of diva-like behaviour, but those accusations could resurface as details of her pretty impressive backstage asks from the Mrs Carter World Tour have been revealed.
In Touch claims they have got a list of the 32 year-old’s backstage requirements, which includes not only a baby-proofed room (for her baby Blue-Ivy, 21 months) but for the room to be furnished ‘all in white’. The all white boudoir should be big enough to comfortably seat eight people, and amazingly the temperature should be set at precisely ’22 degrees’.
The ex-Destiny’s Child star also requested a second ‘well-lit’ room, which should be fitted with giant vanity mirrors for Bey to be made to look her best by her hair and make up team.
Another instruction was for Jay Z’s missus to have her food served on a crisp white tablecloth and, reasonably enough, a strict no-camera policy. A slightly more menial demand was a call for ‘Jo Malone or comparable grapefruit candles.’
For one of the world’s biggest superstars, the requests don’t seem too OTT, especially when compared to some other showbiz characters.
For instance, Kim Kardashian’s beau Kanye West allegedly requested for the carpet to be ironed before his performance on Jools Holland.
Diva Christina Aguilera has also earned a reputation for her sky-high list of demands, including water that is specifically “NOT Evian”. She also requests a police escort to the venue, because “under no circumstances are the vehicles allowed to encounter any delays due to traffic”.
Imagine that!
