We guessed that the first pictures of Beyoncé's new son and daughter would be in an extravegent photoshoot (similar to her pregnancy announcement) and we were right.

Posing in a beautiful picture surrounded by flowers and a beautiful scenery, the American singer is cradling her twins. She wrote alongside the stunning photo: "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today 🙏🏽❤️👨🏽👩🏽👧🏽👶🏾👶🏾"

Not only have we finally seen the new additions to the Carter family but the power couple also confirmed the names of their little ones, and we have to admit those names are pretty unique.

Similar to her pregnancy announcement photoshoot, the 34-year-old singer, who is already mum to five-year-old Blue Ivy, is wearing the same underwear and veil.

With over two million likes and hundreds of thousands of comments lots of people have congratulated the happy couple.

Before confirming the names of her twins, Beyoncé reportedly trademarked the names "Rumi Carter" and "Sir Carter", and they're only one month old.

Although Rumi and Sir Carter were born on June 14, Beyonce and Jay-Z have kept quiet about their twins arrivals. Following reports that Bey gave birth, her dad confirmed the news on twitter.

Although there were plenty of reports surrounding the twins names and genders, Beyonce and Jay-Z have only now confirmed their twins names and genders.

It was previously reported that the twins were born 'prematurely' and are being 'treated for jaundice'.
