Over 200 images of Beyonce’s 2013 L’Oreal cosmetic campaign surfaced on the site thebeyonceworld.com on Tuesday, appearing to show the Flawless singer with a more ‘normal’ appearance.

'That's beyonce? oh wow,' reacted @Smooth-Orator after seeing the photos.

@MackNSweetJones had harsher criticism tweeting: 'She looks like a cigarette smoker.’

However others defended the mother-of-one, writing:

'Am I the only one that doesn't think #Beyonce looks horrible in these untouched photos?! She still looks better than me on most days!'

Standing by Queen Bey, her fan base- known as ‘Beyhive’, slammed criticism of the singer’s appearance, forcing the site to withdraw the pictures.

Explaining their actions, the site wrote:

"Due to the disdain of the BeyHive, we have removed the photos.

We don’t want to cause any drama, nor do we wish to start fan wars.

Some of the things we have seen posted were just horrible, and we don’t want any parts of it.

We were just posting the photos to share the fact that our queen is naturally beautiful, at the same time she is just a regular woman."

We think Bey still looks amazing!
