Rumours have been rife that Beyonce and Jay Z’s marriage is on the rocks following Beyonce’s sister Solange attacking Jay Z in a hotel elevator.
The attack to place in a lift at the posh Standard hotel in New York following the star studded Met Gala.
The video shows Solange hitting and kicking the rapper, whilst Jay Z does not retalitate. Beyonce is shown standing, unsure as to what to do.
The singer was recently pictured at a basketball game with her wedding ring tattoo noticeably absent from her finger, sparking rumours that all is not well in the Beyonce/Jay Z camp.
A source tells RadarOnline: ‘To the public, Beyonce and Jay Z appear to have it all. But behind close doors, they’re not as happy as people think they are.’
‘Jay’s been telling his friends that Beyonce is getting her ring tattoo removed, the one they got when they were married. He just sort shrugs it off though saying 'Nothing is forever'.’
They continued: ‘B puts out this strong, independent woman-type persona, but she’s a wallflower with Jay and is basically just really submissive with him.’
‘And don’t be mistaken; B and Jay are always aware that they are in the public eye and they were prepared in case the video came out. Jay is basically laughing about it now, and they're confident it's going to pass.’
