Despite the fact Ben, 36, and 37-year-old Kristina insist they only got together earlier this year, their romance has been shrouded in controversy following the breakdown of his marriage last year.
In a new interview with The Times, rugby hunk Ben completely refused to talk about his girlfriend – and allegedly threatened to terminate the chat if he was questioned about her.
But, in his own defence, he said: "I am a real nice, kind man – I think I am. I am very honest in my views. Kind, giving, caring, but I can be very honest and that's how I am. I sometimes say it how it is. I've learnt to curb that a little bit, but I've always been a straight shooter in some way."
When the interviewer persisted to quiz Ben on Strictly Come Dancing – the show that brought him and Kristina together – he said simply: "I had a great time on Strictly. I had an amazing time."
It was reported this week that Ben has been forced to give up his bachelor pad and move back in with estranged wife Abby and their twin daughters Isabelle and Harriette.
He was said to be feeling the pressure of paying the mortgage on their £1.75 million home as well as the rent for his own place.
A source told The Sun: "Ben thought he'd be able to see the house and rent somewhere for Abby and the kids before their divorce went through. But there's been very little interest and the cost of the mortgage and renting has become very expensive. He gets to see his kids more, but I'm told it has been really awkward for him and Abby."
While Kristina has consistently dismissed claims things became romantic between her and Ben while he was still with his wife, Abby blasted them last month – claiming he'd 'done the dirty on her'.
She fumed: "My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f***ing Russian dancer."
