Dancing On Ice bosses are splashing the cash on special hotels for the stars.
The celebrity skaters currently taking in the latest series reportedly refused to stay at the local Holiday Inn so the show’s budget had to be increased for accommodation.
The stars are staying at a four star hotel in Buckinghamshire but they were originally planned to have stayed somewhere cheaper four miles from the show studio.
The Hemel Hempsted Holiday Inn quality and rate of £61 apparently did not satisfy the famous cast.
Instead, a room at the hotel in which they are staying costs £131 a night, and they stay there the night before the Sunday live shows.
The news comes after the show launched last weekend following a break from screens for a number of years.
Show hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have returned to front the series.
However, her return to the programme hasn’t been plain sailing for Holly as she has some fears over it after tripping over in the opening show.
She recently wrote on Twitter: ‘So I’m the first to fall live on TV hahaha before even doing my routine out of the way now I hope.”
