Celebs flocked to London for the biggest event of the showbiz calendar last night, the Pride of Britain Awards. A-Listers walking down the red carpet included David Beckham, the Osbournes, Little Mix and X Fcator judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Vernandez Versini and Nick Grimshaw.
Closer's fave Danielle Lloyd and Billi Mucklow, who gave birth to a baby boy in June with her footballer boyfriend Andy Carroll, were the first to arrive at the glitzy champagne reception.
And Billi admitted that it was the first time that she'd left baby Arlo at home.
She laughed: "It feels really strange to be without him! I love being a mum - it's been the most amazing experience. Andy keeps saying how he'd love a football team of kids but I think we'll leave a nice gap before the next one. It's hard work!"
Meanwhile TOWIE's Lydia Bright told me she'd suffered from a disastrous wardrobe malfunction before the event.
Lydia said: "Just before I left the house, I realised that I'd run out of tit tape and that there was no way the dress was going to stay together. I made Arg pull up the car outside of a building site and I rushed in to ask them if they had anything. They gave me tape which is normally used to hold car bumpers together! It's safe to say my boobs won't be going anywhere tonight."
As David Hasselhoff arrived with his girlfriend Hayley Roberts he admitted that he's become something of an English gentleman.
He said: "I'm filming my next series of the show and Hayley and I love being in the UK - the only thing that disturbs me is the English weather - where did the summer go? I'm much more running on the beach in the Californian sun!"
At the dinner in the Grovesnor's ballroom, David Beckham was surrounded by female fans although he was protected by two security guards to stop anyone from getting too close.
David was sat next to EastEnders legend Barbara Windsor, and was seen catching up with her as well as X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez Versini.
And taking a break from his hectic Strictly Come Dancing schedule, Pete Andre was enjoying a night out with his wife Emily MacDonagh.
Pete told me: "I'm having an absolute blast on Strictly but it's not as easy as it looks. Janette is teaching me the quick step this week and it's really hard to master. There have been reports that I'm favourite to win but I wouldn't judge too quickly. I've got some serious competition."
And while David Cameron was a no show at the event, London Mayor Boris Johnson was there to provide entertainment.
Boris told me: "A real hero is a normal person who does extraordinary things. I love these awards becasue they celebrate that."
Then I told him that he was talking to Closer and he added: "Oh really, that is my favourite magazine!" Hurray!
