Those who grew up watching the Beethoven movies will be sad to learn that actor Dean Jones has passed away.

According to his publicist, he passed away in Los Angeles after suffering from complications related to Parkinson’s disease.

The 84-year-old played evil Dr. Varnick in the hit movie, who’s horrific plan to trick the Newton family into handing Beethoven over for cruel tests was dramatically foiled.
