As their past scandals are brought up yet again, Posh has confessed to David that she fears they won’t be able to stop the scrutiny
it’s been a year since they were forced to shoot down divorce rumours, after months of scrutiny over the state of their marriage.
And with Victoria and David Beckham’s relationship thrust into the spotlight again this week as they celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, they’ve been forced to re-live the biggest scandals to rock their relationship over the past two decades.
Online sites recounted David’s rumoured infidelities, including claims of a three-month affair made by his former PA, Rebecca Loos in 2004, which David described as “ludicrous” at the time.
Around the same time, beauty salon owner Danielle Heath had alleged that she also bedded the former footballer on two occasions in 2004 – something he denied.
A pal says, “Vic was gutted that the build-up to their anniversary was used as an opportunity to recount these claims, which she didn’t want to overshadow their special day. Right now, she’s mentioned a small gathering with friends and family to toast their milestone, but David has hinted he’s got something special up his sleeve.”
And fans used the reports as yet another opportunity to criticise the couple – who share Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and Harper, seven – with one saying, “Please God let David be caught with someone and take her out of her misery.”
Now, pals fear the designer, 45 – also known as Posh – will be left shaken amid whispers that beautician Danielle, 37, has been approached to tell her story again.

An insider says, “Danielle could be set to speak again, and Victoria’s inner circle know that would really hurt her. It’s been a year since they were forced to deny divorce rumours, and she feels the scrutiny over their marriage is still as strong.
“She’s tried so hard to put on a united front and prove they are still a happy couple in love, but she’s admitted to David she’s not sure the criticism or speculation is something they can fix – no matter how hard she tries.”
To make matters worse, it was also reported last week that Posh’s former Spice Girls bandmate, and well-known “frenemy”, Mel B is conducting two intimate conversation-style shows later this year.
In March, outrageous Mel hit the headlines after she claimed she’d had sex with Geri Horner when they were bandmates – a bombshell Geri strongly denied.
Now, Posh is petrified about what Mel – who labelled Victoria a “bitch” after she refused to take part in their recent reunion tour – could say about her.

A source adds, “Posh said she felt physically sick when she saw Mel’s show announcement, and said she was worried she may say something that could add even more fuel to her and David’s marriage speculation.
“Mel harbours a lot of secrets from Vic’s past, so her anxiety is at an all-time high. She’s praying Mel shows some compassion and doesn’t use her platform as a revenge weapon. She wants to put the past behind them.
