Peter Andre, 42, has built a successful career out of his clean-cut image as a devoted father and husband.

But, over recent weeks, he has been branded as ‘vain’ and ‘arrogant’ by sources at Strictly Come Dancing 2015.

More damningly, his reputation has suffered a devastating blow after a High Court judge had some choice words for him.

The dad-of-three was accused of being “not truthful” when he appeared as a witness during a legal case between TV producer Neville Hendricks and ITV2.

And the backlash against him has reportedly caused a great deal of stress to his wife, 26-year-old doctor Emily MacDonagh.

Speaking with New! magazine, with whom Peter has a weekly column, a source said: “To say Emily is stressed would be the understatement of the year.

“Ever since she got together with Pete there have been challenges, but the real bombshell is to hear people call Pete a liar.

“The court hearing knocked her for six, and no matter what Pete says she knows people are talking behind their backs.”

However, while Emily has been left feeling drained by the whole affair, sources have exclusively revealed to Closer that Pete’s ex-wife Katie Price is over-the-moon.

Katie, with whom Pete shares daughter Princess and son Junior, has told pals that, now his evidence has been rubbished in court, she’s more confident than ever she can win her legal battle against him.

The pair are set to face each other in court in January and a source says: “Katie can’t hide her glee over the judge’s comments.”
