'This is our next chapter'
’Despite insisting were 'just good friends' when it was rumoured the pair found love after appearing on the show, the girl band star has now opened up about their flourishing romance.
Natasha, 31 - who split with her husband of six years back in July – admitted her relationship with the 34 year-old Five singer has developed since the series.
‘At the end of the day, I don't know what's going to happen, but I do know that we get on very well!’ she said.
‘You know what, I've been through a lot this year and it's been great to have a friend who understands everything.’
‘We'll see what happens. It's hard to hold down a relationship with everything that's going on,’ she added.
‘Plus we've been in the same boat as regards our careers - and I feel we have come full circle and got to a point in our lives where we have dealt with the demons of our past. This is our next chapter.’
Both stars have battled with depression - Natasha suffered post-natal depression after her first child was born while Ritchie turned to drugs and drink after his band split.
The Five singer told a UK newspaper last month: ‘We get on so well and have a lot in common, especially both having been through relationship problems and depression.’
Natasha previously dated nightclub owner Fran Cosgrave - splittng shortly after the birth of their son, Josh in 2002. She had a second son, Harry, in 2004, with dancer Gavin Hatcher, before breaking up with Gavin in 2005. In 2007, Natasha married Riad Erraji and the pair had a son, Alfie in 2010. She and Riad separated earlier this year.
Ritchie was previously married to Australian swimwear model for four months in 2009 before she accused him of attacking her.
