The actress is regularly asked by fans to sign copies of the famous drawing, which in the movie was sketched by the character of Kate’s love interest, Jack Dawson (played by Leonardo DiCaprio).

Speaking to Yahoo.com, Kate said: ‘I don't sign that (picture)… It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that (picture) a lot.’

She continued: ‘I didn't mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.’

Kate’s won the role of Rose Dewitt Bukater in Titanic at the age of 21 and received numerous award nominations for her performance.

The star was asked by a fan to sign the picture at the recent UK premiere for her new movie, Divergent.

‘It’s still haunting me… It’s quite funny really!’ the star said.

The star regularly strips down for roles and has spoken about her own body confidence.

She said in an interview: ‘I have a crumble baby belly, boobs are worse for wear after two kids... I'm doing all right. I'm 33. I don't look in the mirror and go, “Oh, I look fantastic!” Of course I don't. Nobody is perfect. I just don't believe in perfection. But I do believe in saying, “This is who I am and look at me not being perfect!” I'm proud of that.’
