Playboy model Carla Howe took to Twitter to boast about her attack on Ashley Cole at a London nightclub.
She wrote: “Happy I just punched up @TheRealAC3 long awaited.”
Alongside it was a laughing emoji.
However, somewhat unsurprisingly, the tweet has since been deleted.
But, while she has since deleted the evidence from Twitter, the model did reportedly speak with the Daily Star about the bitter nightclub attack.
She told them: "He was trying to get up in my face, and I didn’t know what was going on.
“I was scared, so I punched him. I was wearing a ring and hit him three times in the jaw.
“Afterwards he was shouting ‘she’s busted my lip’."
She continued: "No-one tried to stop me hitting him – I think that is because of Ashley’s bad karma.
"I did it for my sister. Ashley has caused her a lot of issues.
"He deserved it. He thinks he can treat women like dirt. He’s an a******."
The incident allegedly occurred following rumours that Cole had slept with Howe's twin sister Melissa shortly after he split from ex-wife Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
The footballer has yet to comment on the reports.
