Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross welcomed their baby daughter on Friday, and now we can reveal that the happy couple have settled on a gorgeous and unique name for their little one.

Both musicians took to Instagram to share the name announcement, posting on social media: “We are overjoyed about the birth of our precious baby girl Jagger Snow Ross. July, 30 2015.”

Evan, 26, wrote alongside the snap: “I love you #JaggerSnowRoss we love you.”

Ashlee, 30, also shared the same image and caption other own Instagram page.

Jagger is traditionally a boy's name, but has become increasingly popular for baby girls in recent months.

The name has roots in rock music, obviously being the surname of legendary Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

The couple welcomed their new addition just one year after tying the knot in a romantic wedding ceremony.

Evan shared some candid photos from their big day shortly before baby Jagger was born.

The pair got hitched at Evan’s mother Diana Ross’s estate in Connecticut and the following December they announced Ashlee’s pregnancy.

Ashlee is also mum to son Bronx, 6, from her marriage to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. The reality star split from the musician in 2011 after citing irreconcilable differences.
