Well, Florida born singer, song writer Ariana didn’t start off quite as unknown as we’d like to make out, with numerous acting roles under her belt Ariana made a name for herself starring in hit Nickelodeon show Victorious, after also appearing on Broadway.
The 20 year old found singing fame in a similar way to Justin Bieber, Ariana setup a YouTube account in 2007 uploading covers of pop songs and other videos surrounding her life and friends. The star grabbed people’s attention with her version of Adele’s song Rolling In The Deep at the age of 17, receiving 39 million views and counting.
She’s yet to come to the UK but Ariana Grande has already captured our attention with her hit single The Way and rumored boyfriend –our very own Nathan Sykes of The Wanted whom Grande also collaborated with on her new album.
It would seem we're not the only one's taken by the young star, celebrities have been taking to Twitter to express their love for the tiny singer, Kelly Clarkson gushed 'Okay, who the heck is this girl & where did she come from?! Someone just sent me this & wow she is killer & only 19!' posting a link to Grande's performance on The Ellen Show.
With well known talent manager Scooter Braun heading up her career alonside other acts such as Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Gangnam Style's Psy we're predicting even bigger and better things to come from Miss Grande!
