Daniel- who runs a pub quiz business- was allegedly approached by producers of the ITV reality show, but he decided to focus on making big money with his business instead.
THE APPRENTICE: JAMES HILL 'HAD A FULL ON FLING' WITH LAUREN RILEY
An insider told The Sun: “Daniel is a bit of a wheeler-dealer and a bit of a geezer, so a TOWIE-style programme would have suited him down to the ground.
“He was approached by the television company and he was seriously considering it but after a lot of thought he decided to dedicate his time to growing his business.
“He’s always fancied himself as a bit of a personality, so now he’s on The Apprentice with a chance of winning a £250,000 investment, it looks like a good call.”
IS JAMES HILL THE BEST REASON TO WATCH THIS YEAR'S SERIES OF THE APPRENTICE?
The role instead went to Mark Wright, who has achieved phenomenal success despite quitting the show in 2011.
He has since made appearances on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and Strictly Come Dancing.
The 27-year-old also presents his own radio show and has starred in his own reality series Party Wright Around The World.
Are you sure turning down TOWIE was a good ‘business’ decision, Daniel?
