Ant McPartlin admitted last week that he has checked into rehab for his addiction to painkiller Tramadol and alcohol.
A whole host of problems were believed to have led to Ant's self-medicating - including a botched knee operation and his wife Lisa's fertility problems.
He said in a statement, “I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends for helping me through this really difficult time.
“I’ve spoken out because I think it’s important that people ask for help if they’re going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery.”
As Ant battles his demons, Robbie Williams has reached out to the tv presenter and offered his advice.
A source told The Sun, ‘Robbie has battled the same demons as Ant and come out the other side, so he knows he must be going through hell.
‘He has had conversations with Dec about the most helpful points of the treatment and what he found most difficult.’
Robbie also sent some messages to the Britains Got Talent host privately.
In 2007, Robbie was infamously hooked on a cocktail of drugs including heroin and LSD. Rehab saved his life and the Take That star admitted at one point he was '24 hours away from death.'
Co star Declan Donnelly, meanwhile, has checked in to his second holiday in weeks - looing very glum indeed.
Ant and Dec have been working together in telly for 28 years, since the beloved Byker Grove days. The pair have walked away with the gong for'Best Entertainment Presenter' at the NTAs 16 years in a row.
Ant is expected to spend two months in a rehabilitation clinic. We hope he gets the love and support he needs.
