The pair are finally getting their divorce finalised
Nine months since announcing their separation, Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong are finally getting a divorce today (Tuesday 16 October). Their case will be heard at Central Family Court in London and should be finalised in a matter of minutes after 11 years of marriage.
The estranged couple have faced months of media scrutiny since Ant released a statement in January, which read: "In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin. Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families. No further statement will be made."
Lisa, 41, has since returned to her role as a makeup artist on Strictly Come Dancing, while Ant, 42, is taking time away from presenting. His decision to do this follows a stay in rehab after he crashed into the back of a car earlier in the year while under the influence of alcohol.
His friend Holly Willoughby will temporarily replace him as a presenter on I'm A Celebrity.
Ant is also in a new relationship his personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, but Lisa has not confirmed a new romance with anyone.
