It’s been a tough time for Annie Kilner after her footballer husband, Kyle Walker, admitted to fathering a second child with Lauryn Goodman earlier this year.
And the drama has only continued to ramp up in recent weeks, with Annie, 32, and Lauryn, 33, almost facing an awkward run-in as they both showed up in Germany to support Kyle, 34, at the Euros.
But insiders say England WAGs are backing Annie all the way. Megan Pickford, wife of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, was said to have been “appalled” by Lauryn’s attendance, while Anouska Santos, girlfriend of Luke Shaw, and Tolami Benson, girlfriend of Bukayo Saka, are also thought to be supporting Annie.
“They’ve all known Annie for a long time and will stick by her. They have her back,” a source says.
Annie, who shares sons Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and three-month-old Rezon with Kyle, kicked him out of their home in January following the revelation, and they are now said to be in the process of “navigating” the future for their children and their relationship.
“Annie is dealing with what Kyle has done and wants to do that privately. But she’s also put her feelings to one side to take their boys to the matches. Yet, all the while, she has no idea if Lauryn will be there,” the insider says.
Meanwhile, Lauryn, who is mum to four-year-old son Kairo and a 10-month-old daughter with the England star, previously said “there was no way” she wasn’t going to take Kairo to the Euros and that she wasn’t “here to please other people”.
Last week, the influencer, who has signed up to the new series of Celebs Go Dating, shared a picture of herself on a boat and wrote alongside, “Hosting the best day for my friends and family. Making memories with my children means the world to me and it was perfect.”
