In a shock move, Annie Kilner was recently pictured wearing her wedding ring at a glamorous event in Manchester, less than two months after serving her husband Kyle Walker with divorce papers.
And now, despite the footballer’s infidelities, which include fathering two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman, sources tell Closer that Annie, 32, is struggling to move on from Kyle, 34.
The insider says, ‘Even though Annie was trying to hide it at times, wearing her wedding ring out was a big statement. Normally, she worries about everyone judging her, but she was with some of her closest friends and just wanted to have a good time. She has been through so much this year, and just wants to enjoy time with her friends and family. Her boys being happy is her main concern and at the moment they are, as Kyle is still living with them. Things are actually better, but she’s still torn over what to do.’
Childhood sweethearts Annie and Kyle – who tied the knot in secret in November 2021 – are parents to four sons, Roman, 13, Riann, eight, Reign, five, and eight-month-old Rezon. They have been in a notoriously rocky marriage, but its on/off nature reached a head in October when Annie – who discovered last December that her husband had fathered a second child with Lauryn – filed for divorce.
And now, a source says, ‘There are times when Annie thinks they can make it work, but other times she thinks she would be better by herself and should move on. Kyle is desperate to give it another go and finally be happy once more, but she isn’t sure whether she has it in her heart to forgive him again. She’s done it so many times and he’s always let her down.’
