Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie will miss the premiere of her new movie because she has caught the chicken pox.
Though the virus is in most cases relatively harmless, it is very contagious, which means that Angelina will have to stay at home until her symptoms subside.
Following leaked emails from a Sony executive, branding Angelina a ‘spoiled brat’ and ‘talentless’, the actress felt she had to set the record straight and tell fans the unfortunate truth about her absence.
The YouTube clip was uploaded by Universal Pictures earlier today, where a make-up free Angelina tells fans: “I will be home, itching and missing everyone and I can’t believe it because this film means so much to me. But such is life, there it is.Send everyone my love.”
