According to reports, Andy Murray and wife Kim Sears are set to become parents for the first time.
Sources have told newspaper The Sun that the couple have had their 12 week scan and revealed the news to delighted members of their family.
Andy, 28, and Kim, 27, tied the knot earlier this year in the tennis pro’s hometown of Dunblane in Scotland.
The paper also reported that Andy’s mum Judy, 55, is ‘delighted’ at the prospect of becoming a grandparent.
She told Closer earlier this year: “I’m really looking forward to being a granny.
“I’ve always wanted to have grandchildren but I had to be patient and let them get married first.”
Judging by reports the newly married couple sure haven’t wasted any time in starting family!
In Andy’s autobiography Seventy Seven: My Road to Wimbledon Glory, the athlete joked that caring for he and Kim’s terrier dogs made him feel like he already had children.
He wrote: “It is not the same as having kids — or at least I don’t think it is — but that’s sometimes what it feels like.”
Kim and Andy met ten years ago when the couple were just teenagers. Wimbledon champ Andy proposed in November 2014 and the couple married in April this year.
Sounds like a honeymoon baby to us!
