Amy’s campmates on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here have been seen to be bullying the model after she sneaked concealer into the jungle, leading to the whole group losing their food as a punishment.
Her father Bruce has spoken out about the ‘bullying’, but to say that Amy needs to toughen up.
He said: “She needs to stop being such a wimp and toughen up, stand up for herself.”
She has been branded ‘spoilt’, ‘a pain in the arse’ and ‘lazy’ by the other contestants and her dad agrees with them.
Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has been leading the attack on Amy after she refused to give back the smuggled concealer, getting the whole group in trouble.
Bruce has bonded with Joey Essex’s dad Donald while they have both been out in Australia, while Amy and Joey have been growing ever closer in the jungle.
Donald confirmed Bruce’s feelings towards his daughters ‘bullies’. He said: “Amy’s dad is on their side. He does not blame them. He blames Amy. He said she should not have done what she did.
“She sneaked stuff in that camp and got caught. She should not have done that.”
Amy’s dad also suggested that his daughter doesn’t to her fair share of helping out at home. Bruce said: “Amy lives at home and lets us do the washing up.”
But the bullying issue has made the viewers feel sorry for her, and there has been a surge in people places bets on her to win.
