Amy Childs opens up about shock pregnancy: ‘I’m crazy!’

New mum Amy Childs has opened up about expecting a baby so soon after giving birth to her daughter Polly last year

Amy Childs shocked the celeb world when she announced last week that she was expecting her second baby less than a year after welcoming her first.

Amy, 27, gave birth to Polly on 30 April last year with ex-boyfriend Bradley Wright who she split from six weeks after she was born.

But the former TOWIE star is now expecting her second with her partner, who wants to stay out of the limelight.

And now Amy, who has revealed to OK! magazine she's due in September, has opened up about the pregnancy which she's describing as a "shock."

She told the magazine that while she and her partner had previously spoken about having children, they "didn't expect it to happen so quickly," adding: "We’re both really excited about it now though."

The expectant mum said: "I absolutely love being a mum! I would never have thought I’d have two so close together – I’m crazy! It will only be 16 or 17 months since I gave birth to Polly."

But Amy confessed they were both "over the moon" about the "precious" time, and "couldn't wait" to have a brother or sister for Polly.

Of her partner, Amy added: "He’s not in the least bit interested in being in the public eye, which is so nice and refreshing.

"I just wanted me and my partner to really enjoy it."

Despite Amy's new love being showbiz-shy, The Sun were able to find out some details about him - revealing that the couple have been dating for eight months and that he's a businessman.

A source has told the publication that they are "more in love than ever", but that it is unlikely they will ever go public with their relationship as Amy wants to keep it "completely private."

They added: "Amy’s partner is a businessman and he’s got no interest in showbiz or that lifestyle. His focus is Amy and the baby and she completely respects his wishes."
