Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has announced that she's pregnant with her second child less than a year after giving birth to Polly

Amy Childs has revealed that she's expecting her second baby less than a year after giving birth to her first.

Amy, 27, gave birth to Polly on 30 April last year, and revealed in an Instagram post that she is already halfway through her second pregnancy, making her at least at 20 weeks pregnant.

The former TOWIE star split with Polly's father, Bradley Wright, six weeks after Polly's birth, and was spotted with a new mystery man on holiday in the Caribbean in February.

Pictures emerged of the couple taking a stroll on the beach, and even though she would have been three months pregnant at the time, there was hardly a hint of a baby bump.

Yesterday evening, Amy took to Instagram to announce her news, writing: "My partner and I are delighted to announce that polly will soon be welcoming a little brother or sister Into the world 👶🏼💙💗 We are beyond excited! #babynumbertwo #halfwaythere."

Amy would have fallen pregnant roughly in December, which makes the interview she gave to OK! rather coy as she revealed how much she'd like a partner.

She said: "There are times when it's really tough. Polly usually sleeps through the night, but she's teething at the moment so she's been waking up every hour.

"It's times like that when I'd love to have a partner who could help me out or look after her while I have a bath."
