Amy Childs made the tough decision to give up her dog Leo after having baby Polly
Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has admitted she's had to give up her dog after welcoming baby Polly into the world.
The 26-year-old mum gave birth to her daughter last month. She announced the news on social media by posting a photo of her little one holding her finger, with the caption: "Welcome to the world my beautiful daughter."
Her gorgeous daughter Polly is now four-weeks-old and Amy herself can't believe how quick time is going. She recently posted a cute snap of her baby and admitted she "can't believe Polly is four weeks old already."
Now, the yummy mummy has revealed after having Polly she faced a difficult decision and decided to give up her dog, Leo, who she has had for three years. In her New! magazine column, she wrote: "He's been my baby for three years, but he was so big and got a bit jealous, and I have to put Polly first."
Luckily though, he hasn't gone very far: "He has gone to a lovely couple who are my good friends.
"They have a beautiful house and a huge garden, and Leo absolutely loves it!"
She added: "It’s broken my heart, though. I can’t even visit him at the moment as I know I’ll get really upset and stressed.
"I know he’s happy, but I do miss him being around."
Aww.
Amy previously admitted her dog was very protective of her throughout her pregnancy. While pregnant she wrote in her column: "[He] is so protective over me and my bump… the other day I was lying in the bath and he came over and licked it!
"We’ll introduce him to the baby slowly as he won’t want him to get jealous or feel left out."
Although they had to give up Leo, at least she can still visit him.
