Love Island winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea have lasted less than five weeks outside of the villa after the Irish rugby hunk revealed they had ended their relationship to concentrate on their careers.

Amber had been due to fly to Ireland to appear on The Late Late Show in Dublin, but instead she stayed at home whilst Greg starred alongside fellow Islander Maura Higgins, and opened up about what REALLY happened.

Greg denied rumours he'd dumped Amber over text, he instead revealed they had a series of phone calls.

He said: "So we're mad about each other, what's not to be mad about? She's gorgeous, smart funny, she's the Queen of Love Island for a reason but you need to be realistic about the situation.

"She lives in the UK, every brand wants to work with her, every event wants her there, of course she deserves all of it and I decided to come back to Ireland and do my thing here."
