Amanda Holden has previously opened up about her special bond with Simon Cowell, so we’re pleased to hear she’s not afraid to put him back in his box when he steps out of line.
The music mogul is renowned for creating tension between his female judges and it looks like Amanda and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon have had enough of his sexist ribbings.
Speaking to the Radio Times about Simon’s penchant for fuelling petty cat fights, Amanda said he’s dropped the tactic since she told him "it’s not cool".
Amanda added: "It's not what women are naturally like and it's not what women want to watch."
Alesha joined the ITV panel in 2012 and has since become close friends with 45-year-old Amanda. Their relationship is a far cry from the drama that plagued Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne on The X Factor back in the mid noughties.
Some of their feuds were so nasty, Sharon admitted that working with the Aussie pop star was "unbearable" and "an odious chore".
Both women took the slagging match to print in their respective biographies and still haven’t dropped the hatchet. In her 2010 book, "Dannii Minogue: My Story", the singer claimed their rows were so bad, she was constantly "in tears" and that Sharon had to be physically removed from her dressing room before the first live show.
As for Amanda, the presenter is so busy she doesn’t have time to watch the live shows. She explained: "I watch the audition shows, but never the live shows. I’m either out or with the kids when it’s on. And our show [Britain's Got Talent] is better!"
Take that Simon! We’re sure Sharon doesn’t want another pop beauty on her bad side, so let’s hope Nicole Scherzinger and Shaz can rise above the bitchiness this year.
