Amanda Holden had her last day on This Morning today, after co-hosting the show with Phillip Schofield in Holly Willoughby’s absence.

After filling in for Holly, 34, for a year after she gave birth to her third child last September, she exclaimed “It’s been one of the happiest years of my life.”

Holly also thanked Amanda, saying “You’ve been absolutely brilliant,” while host Phillip Schofield said, “You have been absolutely stunning and amazing.”

And the 44-year-old definitely had a memorable last day - laughing, crying and throwing water over Stephen Mulhern!

Phillip admitted having no idea about Amanda’s prank, which left viewers shocked immediately after.

Stephen attempted to get his own back and explained “For anyone that missed this, it was the fact that during the show [BGMT] you likened Amanda to Jocelyn Wildenstein who is 74.”

Stephen continued, “Amanda is our longest serving judge… and we came up with this idea. The team said ‘do it, do it’. Ant said ‘Don’t do it’ and Dec went ‘Do it!’ So we did it…[and Amanda threw water over me]”

He added, “If you’ve just tuned in, I’m not sweating, I’ve just had a glass of water thrown over me by the hostess!”

During the show, Revelation Avenue threw a surprise performance for Amanda, and if that wasn’t enough she was also given a spectacular goodbye cake.

At the end of the show an emotional Amanda said, “I’m swallowing a lot and looking away from Phillip so I don’t cry".

This morning is back tomorrow from 10:30am. We will miss you Amanda!
