This Morning’s Alison Hammond has had a major change this year— and despite rumours, it isn’t a facelift. A source tells Closer that Alison, 49, is feeling amazing, and contrary to the rumblings that she’s had surgical help, it’s mainly because of one man.
A source tells Closer, ‘She's never felt more confident in herself than she does right now — especially with her body and how she looks. People are even asking her if she's had a facelift because she looks like she's turned back the clock!’
Alison — who is mum to 19-year-old Aiden from a previous relationship with cab driver Noureddine Boufaied — doesn’t credit any surgeon with her newfound self-assurance. Instead, she chalks it up to her toyboy boyfriend, David Putman. The source continues, ‘She says her new look is down to her confidence and to David because she's so happy.’
The Great British Bake Off host has been dating the 27-year-old masseur since late last year, and despite the initial backlash, the public has come around to the couple — who reportedly met after Alison booked David for a massage therapy session. The mum-of-one recently revealed, ‘It’s like a jigsaw; we fit, and it all comes together. I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me, “We get it now.”’
This will be Alison and David’s first Christmas as a couple, and a source tells Closer that she can’t wait to enjoy the festive season with him by her side. ‘Alison is really excited about Christmas this year and spending it with her man. She's really happy and looking forward to having a wonderful time with him.’
