The cross-dressing ex husband of Katie Price has just opened a mixed martial arts academy for children, where kids as young as three can learn to be cage fighters.

Alex, who is a former cage fighting champion, has opened the school in the Hampshire town of Farnborough, but says parents needn’t worry about their nippers engaging in the violent sport.

‘Kids want to be cage fighters’ explains the 39-year-old, ‘It’s a bit like boy scouts, but with martial arts. It’s cool.’

Reid even goes so far as to say that the skills the kids learn in cage fighting can be taken out into the community.

Hampshire born Alex was married to mum-of-five Katie Price for two years between 2010 and 2012, before Katie met current husband Kieran Hayler.

Alex then moved onto reality star Chantelle Houghton, with whom he has a daughter, Dolly.
