Congratulations are in order as Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria took to social media last night to share the happy news that their third child has been born.

Alec, 58, shared a photo Hilaria, 32, posted to her Instagram account of herself holding the bundle of joy, which they’ve named Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin.

Sharing the wonderful news with fans, Hilaria wrote: “We are so pleased to introduce you to our new baby, Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin.

“It was such a special day bringing him into this world.”

The 30 Rock actor took to Twitter to share more details of Leonardo’s birth, including the time and place the little one came into the world.

He wrote: "Leonardo Angel Charles. September 12. 6:51pm. New York City."

Fans were quick to congratulate the pair, and to comment on how beautiful the newborn and his name are.

Alec is also father to 20-year-old daughter Ireland from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger, as well as Carmen, three, and Rafael, 14 months, with Hilaria.

Back in March the couple took to social media to share they were expecting again, less than a year after the birth of their youngest.

Hilaria shared a sweet snap of the pair kissing in New York holding a blue teddy, captioning her post: “Ireland, Carmen, Rafael, Alec, and I are excited to share with you that we are going to have another addition to our family. A little boy coming this fall.”

Both parents share many photos of their children together across social media, so we can’t wait to see more snaps of the latest edition to the family!

Congratulations once again to Alec and Hilaria.
