Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has posted a poignant tribute to her friend Amy Winehouse on the fifth anniversary of her tragic death.

The 27-year-old died of alcohol poisoning at her home in north London on July 23 2011.

Taking to Twitter Aislyene wrote: “"Always in my heart. Miss u everyday, especially this one. I love you baby girl, lioness #RIP."

After news of Amy’s death broke in 2011, Celebrity Big Brother star Aisleyne was photographed breaking down outside the Camden mansion where the singer's body was found. Late that year Aislyene revealed the pair had been friends for three years and she was struggling to deal with her death.

Meanwhile Amy's father Mitch has announced he will be performing a concert to mark the anniversary and raise money for her foundation.

He will perform at London's Pizza Express Jazz Club on Sunday to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation – the charity that was set up in her name on what would have been her 28th birthday to combat drug and alcohol abuse among young people and help them overcome eating disorders or self-harm.

Mitch's concert is to be full of the jazz, big band and swing classics that he and his daughter both loved.
