Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace opens up about cancer scare

Former Big Brother and First Dates star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has revealed that she was left planning her own funeral after a serious cancer scare in late 2019.

Speaking out for the first time about what she went through, Aisleyene said, “When they mentioned cancer, my blood ran cold.

"My mum died of cancer and it killed her brother three months later. I thought that was going to be my fate too. I thought I was going to die.

“I started writing wills and thinking about who would get what. I tried holding onto hope, but I would Google things when I couldn't sleep.

"I'd be awake in the middle of the night planning what would happen to my body. I wanted my ashes to be made into a diamond. But then I was worrying about where the diamond would be kept…"

Paul 'Bubble' Ferguson

Bubble is perhaps best remembered for his collection of hats, which Brian once stole before starting a ridiculous argument (they loved a play fight). Bubble was the only person in the house who didn't drink, so we're not sure how he managed to survive when everyone else was sloshed.

Speaking to The Sun, she added, “That was where my thoughts went at 4am on a sleepless night.”

Fans of the property mogul will remember back in January, when Aisleyne tweeted, “I don’t have cancer. Crying. I have no emoji to explain my feeling. Oh my God it’s been tough. I feel so blessed. Literally can’t stop crying. Thank you God.”

She didn't elaborate on the scare at the time, but taking to Twitter this morning she explained, "This is why I took a sabbatical from all social media over Christmas.... mental health and physical health go hand in hand, my message to you is don't stay silent like I did, share your worries."
