She’s the biggest superstar on the planet: selling millions of records, winning coveted awards and is set to play a huge world tour later this month. But for Adele, there’s only one man that matters in her life – her son, Angelo.

In a new interview with Vogue, Adele admits: “My main thing is mum, then it’s me, then it’s work,” before adding that her young son, “makes me very proud of myself.”

She explains: “When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, where before I didn’t.”

Her huge comeback, with her best selling album 25, saw Adele step back into the limelight after four years out of the music business. But it seems that’s she’s finally found happiness with herself.

“I was just shocked that all of a sudden I was 25!” she told the publication. “But actually I like myself more than ever. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with. Obviously I have insecurities, but they don’t hold me back.”

In preparation her upcoming tour, that will see Adele play huge venues across the UK, Europe and North America, the singer has been hitting the gym hard. But Adele is quick to admit that she’s not looking to change herself.

“I was trying to get some stamina for my tour,” she explains, “so I lost a bit of weight.” Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes—which is a really big problem for me.”

Why? Because now she’s a total shopaholic – and we just love her for it. In fact, we don’t think we could love her anymore if we tried.
