She’s been open about her longing to become a mum again, telling an audience in Las Vegas that she’d been making notes of baby names and admitting that she wants to be pregnant again “soon”.
And with her hugely successful residency coming to an end in November, Adele, 35, is now preparing to really focus on her baby-making mission with boyfriend of two years, Rich Paul.
After suffering a painful fall due to her ongoing health battle with sciatica (a painful nerve condition) last month, an insider says the megastar is now prioritising her health to boost her chances of falling pregnant.
The source says, “Adele is determined, now more than ever to make it happen. She’s not going to give up and has every confidence it’ll happen for her and Rich sooner rather than later.
“She’s taking a very focused, no-nonsense approach to it all and has done her homework about the best ways to prepare and following the tips that make the most sense. Adele’s doing her bit to make sure she has a completely healthy pregnancy.”
Earlier this month, Closer reported how sports agent Rich, 41 – who Adele has been dating since 2021 and who has three children from previous relationships – has been urging the star to take time out to continue with physiotherapy and rest following her fall.
But our insider says that while Adele – mum to 11-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki – has promised to heed his advice, she’s also reminded him that he also needs to be in tip-top shape if their baby dream is to come true.
The source adds, “Adele has put him on a strict diet, which includes lots of health shakes. She’s also urging him to give up alcohol and coffee with her to help his sperm count – something he isn’t so keen on!”
But the insider says Adele has been reminding Rich that going without alcohol and junk food for now will all be worth it in the long run.
They say, “She’s trying not to put too much pressure on the situation, but it’s definitely top priority. She cannot wait to be a mum again and spend the rest of her life with Rich.”
