Adele is, once again, back in the charts - and many have praised the songstress for sounding better than ever after her break from music.

But the 27-year-old has revealed that she finds it tough being a working mum.

Admitting it causes her heartache on an almost daily basis, she told Sirius XM radio in New York that she has a "constant struggle" when it comes to her son.

The singer explained that she never knows if she is spending enough time with 3-year-old Angelo - and that it leaves her feeling guilty.

Adele said: "The guilt, I don’t think any of us really get over it.

“It makes me emotional when I talk about it actually.

"Leaving him when he would rather be with me is hard. But he comes everywhere with me [when he can]."

However, despite this, Adele added that she feels incredibly privileged to be able to make money doing what she loves most; singing.

She said: ”Obviously my work is incredible; it sounds silly calling it work but it is when you have a kid because you have take time away from them," she added.

"So I do find it hard, but I am in a lucky, blessed, privileged situation with how I manage to balance mine most of the time so I feel lucky."
