The Evening Standard reports that Adulthood actor Adam, 32, was deemed 'too unwell' to attend court today for charges including possessing an offensive weapon.
Adam was arrested after allegedly threatening people with a knife in January.
BAFTA-winner Adam didn't appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today, and the clerk said: "This case was adjourned, I believe, on the 6th March and if you look at the charge sheet, the charges concern allegations from January 6 of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
"On the last occasion the defendant wasn't in court and an adjournment period was agreed because the defendant was in hospital for treatment for underlying mental health issues."
It is claimed that Adam was arrested at the beginning of the year after brandishing a machete at passers-by in Bethnal Green.
Adam was also appeared in court earlier this year after being accused of harassing his Kidulthood co-star Noel Clarke.
He denied posting abusive messages about Noel to social media between March 5 and December 19 2014.
After being bailed to reappear at a later date, Adam was told not to contact Noel and was also banned from entering the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
